There is an elderly lady in our surrounding community who's deck and front porch need some TLC and modifications to allow safe, handicapped, access to her home. We will be refurbishing an existing wooden ramp on her back deck, and installing new handrails and pickets on her back deck and front porch. All materials will be located on site. Basic carpentry or handyman skills would be helpful, but anyone with construction interest is welcome. Bring any hand tools (hammers, demolition bars, battery powered impact drivers & saws) that you have. Plan to attend the Serve Day rally, where we'll gather for a short time of inspiration, information, prayer, and worship! The Rally will be held before heading out to our project, and project leaders will give important instructions immediately following. Doors open at 8:00 AM | Rally starts at 8:30 AM at our Midlothian location.
